Nederlandstalige soundtrack van de Disney-animatiefilm 'Frozen'* (2013), geïnspireerd op het sprookje 'De sneeuwkoningin' van Hans Christian Andersen. Hierin gaat prinses Anna op zoek naar haar zus, kroonprinses Elsa, die het koninkrijk in een eeuwige winter heeft ondergedompeld. De liedjes zijn geschreven en gecomponeerd door Robert Lopez en Kristen Anderson-Lopez. De cd bevat 32 nummers, waaronder het Oscarwinnende 'Laat het los' (Let it go), gezongen door zangeres en musicalactrice Willemijn Verkaik (Wicked). Verder onder meer Heimr árnadalr, Bevroren hart, Zomer en Dieren zijn beter dan mensen. Zowel de film als de soundtrack zijn een groot succes bij het publiek. Vanaf ca. 6 jaar.

Jean-Christophe Beck (born November 30, 1972) is a Canadian television and film score composer and conductor. He is a brother of pianist Chilly Gonzales.

Beck won an Emmy Award in 1998 for his work on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and scores the Disney+ limited series WandaVision. His film credits include The Hangover, The Muppets (2011), Frozen, Marvel's Ant-Man films, and Frozen II. He has won one Primetime Emmy and Annie Award, and has been nominated for one Primetime Emmy, two Annie Awards and one Grammy Award.

Early life

Beck started piano lessons at five, and by eleven he was learning Bee Gees songs by ear and performing with his first band. Beck attended Crescent School where he studied piano, saxophone, and drums, and wrote many 80's love ballads.
