Philip Claeys (Dutch: [ˈfilɪp ˈklaːi̯s]; born 24 May 1965) is a Belgian politician and former Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Flanders with the Vlaams Belang, a right-wing political party which condemns social integration without proper assimilation into existing culture and is opposed the federal construction of Belgium.
He sat on the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and was a substitute for the Committee on Culture and Education and a member of the Delegation for relations with Australia and New Zealand. He participated in the international counter-jihad conferences in Brussels in 2007 and in 2012.
