Victoria Elizabeth (V. E.) Schwab (born July 7, 1987) is an American writer and Content Creator. She is best known for the 2013 novel Vicious, the Shades of Magic series, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and her children's and young adult fiction books published under the name Victoria Schwab. She is also the creator and show runner (alongside Felicia D. Henderson) of the show First Kill, based on a short story she wrote for an anthology Vampires Never Get Old: Tales With Fresh Bite.

Early life and education

Schwab was born on July 7, 1987 in California, but she grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. Schwab went to an all-girls Southern preparatory school.
